Create a Regular Space/Time in your Week (20-30+ mins) for your Creative Thinking/ Life Planning/ Weekly Prioritising etc
This works best if you can,
1. Create a ‘physical space’: Somewhere physically removed from your work/home – e.g out in Nature, go for a drive etc
2. Create a ‘mental space’: a quiet place best & a time where there are no immediate work/family demands – e.g weekend, early morning
Use this time each week to just be completely by yourself to get super clear on what it is you really want in life and how you can best achieve it. Then use it to clarify/prioritise things for each week. We will do some tips to further this process later, but none of them will be of use unless you first create the ‘space’.
So do this first. Put a time in your diary now (and each week from now) to keep yourself progressing towards your Ideal Life/Life Balance.
Great Quote:
There is a great quote by Claude DeBussey – “Music is the ‘space’ between the notes”. i.e. It’s actually in the GAPS/SILENCE between the notes, that the music gets created from and also where the listener appreciates the music – no gaps and the whole thing is just a jumbled mess.
Your life is exactly the same. If you fill it up with constant activity, it becomes a mess & there is no balance/joy. It’s only where there is some space that Nature can create/manifest what you want (or provide you with the insight/intuition/clarity to manifest what you want).
It can be hard to put space/gaps in our life because we think we aren’t achieving anything or it’s just empty etc, however the creativity to create more balance (whether through more exercise, hobbies, relationships, rest or whatever) can only come by creating some ‘space’.
The universe abhors a vacuum. Create the space, have the desire and Nature (the embodiment of perfect balance) will bring what’s best.
